Agents can now move from referencing submission to a completed tenancy record without re-entering a single piece of data.
Muuvo, the multi-award-winning change-of-tenancy automation platform, has launched a fully integrated referencing solution in partnership with Vorensys, enabling letting agents to manage the entire referencing and pre-tenancy process from within a single system.
The integration marks a significant step forward for agencies looking to reduce administrative workload and improve compliance outcomes. Under the new system, agents submit tenant and landlord details once through Muuvo, and Vorensys handles all subsequent checks, including comprehensive referencing, open banking assessments, and anti-money laundering screening, before returning results directly to the platform. No manual follow-up is required at any stage.
Critically, once referencing is complete, Muuvo automatically generates a fully prepared pre-tenancy record, including supplier lookups and GDPR tenant opt-ins, ready for the agent’s review. A process that previously required agents to manually build records from data gathered during referencing now runs in the background, with no additional input required.
A Clear Division of Responsibility
Muuvo’s role within the integration is deliberately focused: the platform acts as the data transporter between the agency and Vorensys, with all referencing, screening, and AML checks conducted exclusively by Vorensys. Agents are never required to re-enter information, and results flow back automatically once checks are complete.
For agents who need to follow up on a pending application or AML check, Muuvo provides a direct communication channel to Vorensys through a conversation bubble built into the platform, removing the need to switch tools or contact Vorensys separately.
Full Coverage Across Check Types
The integration supports the full range of referencing scenarios that letting agents encounter day to day. Residential tenants can undergo full referencing and screening, while landlord screening is also available. Company lets are handled through the same workflow at the same pricing, and standalone AML checks can be run independently, a useful option when compliance obligations arise outside a standard tenancy.
Transparent Pricing
Muuvo has structured pricing to be straightforward across all check types. Fully comprehensive referencing costs £14 per applicant, with open banking referencing costing £9. Standalone AML checks are £3, and company reference checks are priced at £14, in line with a standard residential reference.
Charges are not collected in real time. All referencing activity is consolidated monthly and invoiced at the start of the following month, giving agencies a predictable billing cycle. A GoCardless account must be set up within Muuvo before referencing can be activated.
Reducing Friction at a Critical Stage
The launch addresses one of the most common inefficiencies in the lettings process: the gap between a successful reference and a completed pre-tenancy record. For many agencies, that gap involves duplicated data entry, delayed utility registrations, and a pre-tenancy workflow that starts from scratch each time. Muuvo’s integration closes that gap entirely.
The referencing integration extends the platform’s automation capabilities into one of the final stages of the tenancy process, where manual handling has remained commonplace.
