I was very interested in the property and when it became unavailable due to an offer, I expressed my interest over an email and a phone call, in case the deal with other buyers falls through. It actually did, but no one bothered to invite me to a viewing, because Donna Hannay from Lynks apparently simply disregarded my expression of interest. It'd have missed out on the house if my wife haven't found by accident that it returned to the market.
When my offer was accepted, Lynks required us to meet at their office for ID checks and signing a few papers, even though we lived over 100 miles away at the time. This shows how far behind the age this firm stands; all of these procedures, including signatures and ID verification, are commonly performed digitally now.
During the course of the purchase, Lynks have only been responding when they 'felt like it' or needed something from us. Ignored a number of emails completely (not even a "we'll get back to you" reply), and the replies I did receive were clearly written hastily.
